1990உக்கு முன்னர் வடக்கு பௌதிக அடிப்படையில் எப்படி இருந்ததோ? என்ன விகிதாசாரத்தில் மக்கள் வாழ்ந்தனரோ? என்ன பெயர்களில் கிராமங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டனவோ? யார் யாருக்குக் காணிகள் சொந்தமாக இருந்தனவோ? அப்படி ஓர் நிலையை உருவாக்குவது அரசின் கடமை?
காரணம் 1990 இல் வட பகுதி முஸ்லிம்களும் அதற்கு முன்னர் பரம்பரையாக அங்கு வாழ்ந்த சிங்கள சகோதரர்களும் புலிப் பயங்கரவாதிகளால் விரட்டியடிக்கப்பட்டபோது வாழாவிருந்த அரசே அதற்கு மருந்து போட வேண்டும்!
முன்னர் நடந்ததற்கு தற்போதைய அரசு நாம் என்ன செய்வது எனக் கையை விரிக்க இயலாது. அரசுகள் விட்ட பிழைகளுக்காக அப்பாவிப் பொது மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட முடியாது.
அது சிங்களவர் தமிழர் முஸ்லிம்கள் எவராகவூம் இருக்கலாம் நாம் இங்கு மூன்று வகையானோரைக் காண்கிறௌம். ஒன்று: குற்றமற்ற மக்கள். இரண்டு: அழிவூக்கு வழிகோலும் பயங்கரவாதம். மூன்று: நாட்டை ஆண்டு கொண்டிருக்கும் அரசும் அரசியல்வாதிகளும்.
எவ்வகைப் பயங்கரவாதமாயினும்இ அது யாரிடமிருந்தாயினும்இ அப் பயங்கரவாதத்தால் மக்கள் பாதிப்படைய இடமளிக்க முடியாது. இன்னோர் அழிவை இந்நாடும் அப்பாவி மக்களும் எக்காரணத்துக்காகவூம் சந்திக்க முடியாது. ஆதலால் மக்களைப் பயங்கரவாதத்தில் இருந்து காப்பாற்ற வேண்டியது அரசினது தலையாய கடமை.
அனைவரும் அவரவர் உரிமைகளுடன் வாழ்வதும்இ வாழவிடுவதும் அரசினால் உறுதிப்படுத்தப்படல் வேண்டும். மாறான எவையூம் பலத்த தண்டனைக்கு உட்படுத்ததப்படல் வேண்டும்.இவ்விடயத்தில் அனைத்து அரசியல்வாதிகளும் கட்சி பேதமின்றி சமய சார்பின்றி ஒது;துழைப்புக்கொடுக்க வெண்டும்;.
மக்கள் இல்லாத நிலையில் ஊர்களில் தேர்தல் நடத்துவது அக்கிரமத்துக்கு அங்கீகாரம் கொடுப்பதைப் போன்றதே! விசேடமாக வடக்கில் இருந்த முஸ்லிம்களும்இ சிங்களவர்களும்இ தமிழர்களும் அங்கு இல்லாமல் நடத்தப்படும் தேர்தல் ஜனநாயக மரபைக் குழிதோண்டிப் புதைக்கும் படுபாதகச் செயலே!
அந்த வகையில் ஜனாதிபதியின் கருத்து செயற்படுத்தப்படல் வேண்டும் என்பதை நாம் வலியூறுத்துகிறௌம்.
அதே வேளை தமிழர் பிரச்சினைக்கு எவருக்கும் பாதிப்பில்லாவாறான சுமுகமான நீடித்து நிலைக்கக்கூடிய நீதியான கௌரவமான தீர்வூ காதணப்படல் வேண்டும். அதற்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்கப்படல் புலியை அழித்து யூத்தத்தை முடிவூக்குக் கொண்டு வந்த தலைமைகளின் கடமை. இன்றேல் இந்நாட்டில் மீண்டும் ஒரு பயங்கரவாதம் உருவாகும் நிலையேற்பட்டுஇ தாங்கள் செய்ததும் பெறுமதியற்றுப் போகும்.
புதிதாக எதையூம் செய்வதைவிட அடைந்த வெற்றியைக் கட்டிக்காக்க அதன் மூலம் இந்த நாட்டடில் சமாதான சனவாழ்வூ ஏற்பட வேண்டிய அனைத்தையூம் செய்வது ஜனாதிபதி அவா;களின் தலையாய கடமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதை அவர் செய்வார் என அமைதி விரும்பு:ம் சிங்கள தமிழ் முஸ்லிம்கள் அனைவரும் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டுள்ளோம். அந்த நம்பிக்கையை அவரும் காப்பாற்றுவார் எனவூம் எதிர்பார்க்கிறௌம்.

I really regret to see this situation on the issue of Northern Muslims after 22 years of sufferings.
Northern Muslims need no criticism or explanations, but justice for their sufferings for the last 22 years for reason Tigers only knew. Its not a matter to discussion but to rectify by putting them in the righteous place.
The only reason for the ethnic cleansing was that they are followers of Islam.
This is totally against this country's constitution of Fundamental and Human rights including the right to chose and practice one Religion any where in this country.

நம்மிடம் எதுவூம் இல்லாதிருக்கலாம்இ ஆனால் உலக அழிவூவரை எடுத்துச் செல்லக்கூடிய இறைவழி ஆம்இ புனித குர்ஆன் இருக்கிறது. அதன்படி நடந்தால் வெற்றி நிச்சயம்.
முதலாவது நமது தலைவர்கள் எனத்தாமே மகுடம் சூடிக்கொண்டு நக்கித்திரியூம் இழிபிறப்புக்கள் முதலில் களையப்படல் வேண்டும். காலத்துக்குக் காலம் தமது பதவிகளுக்காக பல் இழித்துஇ பக்குவமாக எதையூம் நியாயப்படுத்த தமது அறிவையூம்இ ஆற்றலையூம் செலவழித்து அந்நியர் மத்தியில் வெறுப்புணர்வை வளர்த்த பெரும் பங்கு இவர்களையே சாரும். நாம் பங்காளிகள்இ எம்மைவிட்டால் எவரும் ஆட்சி அமைக்கமுடியாது என தம்பட்டம் அடித்தே முஸ்லிம்களுக்குப் புதைகுழி தோண்ட ஆரம்பித்து அக்குழியில் அவர்களே விழுந்தஇ அமிழ்ந்துள்ள நிலையூம் மறக்க முடியாததே!
அன்றைய முஸ்லிம் தலைவர்கள் கௌரவமாக அடுத்தவர் அறியாதுஇ உலகில் எங்குமில்லாதவாறு சலுகை, உரிமைகளைப் பெற்றுத் தந்துள்ளனர்.
இன்று அதற்கு நேரெதிராக இஸ்லாத்தை விற்று தம்மை மேம்படுத்த முனைகின்றனர். இது மூலகாரணங்களில் ஒன்று.

The so called Tamil Leaders are responsible for the present position of Tamil Speaking People today. They had no policy or plan.
They always cheated the innocent Tamils and safeguard their position and enjoyed facilities and privileges of the Govt
They were not keen in solving the problem of the Tamil at any time. During 1977 propaganda for Tamil Eelam I asked the position and status of Muslims if Tamil Eelam achieved was not answered in that public meeting held in Mannar headed by the leader of TULF SJV.
This Tamil Eelam resolution had been taken even without a consultation with the member parties especially the Thodaman Congress. The name TULF had been used by the Tamil Federal Party for their own benefits.
They won that 1977 General election and became the main Opposition Party and forget about the Tamil Eelam. If they had changed their policy, they would have resigned the seats and contested in the new policy or get the sanction of the general public.
This resulted the losses of lives and all other things with untold sufferings for nearly three decades. Even they were not interested in advising the Tigers to put them in the righteous path of achieving a meaningful solution to the Tamils,when they were with them to get seats in the Parliament with their helps and blessings.
They were in illusion and not willing to realize the realities. Now also they are not sincere to the Tamils but safeguarding their position in Parliament.
When time permits I will write further on this.

Before you criticize the Minister for your political benefits, try to understand the back ground of the problem. You do not talk about the attack and tear gas by the Police and Army on the peaceful demonstration to have their rights in their territory.
Please remember that you are talking against the North Muslims especially Mannar Muslims who were victims during your UNP regime and still they are suffering and present problem is due to the forcible eviction of innocent Muslims from North in 1990 by the terorist Tigers with the connivance of your party.
If you want to attack the Government, find some other ways. Why did not attack the Govt. when A Thero attacked the Dampulla Masjid in the day light in front of the Police Officers and DS of the area and some other officers.
Do not forget the present status of the country is due to your party's misrule and the inefficiency.

The culprits Vidataltivu fishermen ignored all the orders of the GA/Mannar, Divisional Secretary/Mannar, Asst Director of Fisheries/Mannar,trespassed, illegally entered in to the Muslims territory and created disharmony in Mannar. No one is talking these crime and those who are behind them but concealing the crime and giving legal entity to criminals and out-laws.
A history had been created by the Magistrate went on rampage and forced and ordered the Police to shoot the peaceful demonstrators (women and children) who were demonstrating more than 200 yards away from the Court premises for more than two and a half hours without any disturbances to any one.
If you are doing real gentleman journalism, you should study the case thoroughly before you conclude and criticize the Innocent Muslims, who are victims by the so called Liberation Tigers from 1990, and their peaceful demonstration to establish their rights after 22 years of suffocation.
The North Muslims never utter a word against the Tamils for the forcible eviction from their Home Land after looting their belongings, but you all are trying to change the ahimsa demonstration giving different versions as you all like.
